The new generic form of Twynsta® (telmisartan/amlodipine) is now available from Lupin and is being added to the Cardinal Health SOURCESM Generics offering. Cardinal Health anticipates other suppliers to enter the market. Due to low volume, generic Twynsta ® will not be distributed to pharmacies as part of the First ScriptSM offering. The generic product will be available for ordering from Cardinal Health on Monday, January 13, 2014. Twynsta® is used for the treatment of hypertension, alone or with other antihypertensive agents to lower blood pressure.
